That which the truth nourishes should thrive

The phrase is from Eliezer Yudkowsky’s writings.

The general idea here is that when in doubt, the truth should flourish. It’s a good rule of thumb that has allowed me to push through embarrassment in different situations: admitting the mistakes I’ve made more quickly, trying to communicate more.

I am very far from perfect at exercising this idea fully, but it’s one that I’ve seen some mileage from.
