Some problems with readwise as isolated step in learning process
While I try to use private/Readwise as incremental reading (thought it’s not really incremental reading), I’ve had trouble extracting content in a way that is more cohesive with the text as a whole. I am able to go through highlights and think about insights they may lead to, but have a hard time using Readwise to help me extract mental models that are presented in a book or text without looking at all the highlights from a document at the same time, or needing to refer back to the original text for more context.
Maybe the new Readwise Reader product will help this, and in the meantime I will try to use the Readwise to Obsidian integration to see if that can help resolve this.
