Arguing about definitions instead of concepts: lazy to argue about definitions, but more important to argue about actual outcomes (irrespective of how the definitions map to the outcomes). Focus on outcomes not definitions.

Forward flow vs backward flow, using experimentation and curiosity to develop hypotheses rather than having a hypothesis and using that to design an experiment. The backwards flow is more likely to succumb to biases.

A good discussion on Emergent phenomena that highlights that term as one of the ways we trick ourselves into thinking we understand or know something.

Strongly argues for strict utilitarianism when it comes to dealing with saving lives.

Pushes a self-improvement strategy of constant improvement, where you always do your best to make your map better reflect the territory.

Defines intelligence as Squeezing the future into a constrained region, which is a useful characterization.
