Level of Effort

Level of effort labels on notes are used to determine how much prior work I’ve done before writing this post. Usually the effort will be pretty low, but for some notes I have had a fair amount of background reading or research that I’m pulling from.

When a note is labeled high effort, then it means that it is in my wheelhouse, I have a reasonable amount of background knowledge on the topic, or I have done a serious amount of research (multiple days, probably). When a note is labeled low effort, this means I have done little to no research besides having the idea, thinking about it for a few minutes using my own life experience, and writing out my thoughts about it.

I don’t suspect I’ll use a no effort label, as the act of writing the note moves it into the realm of what I consider low effort.
