Ambient technology should be beneficial for otherwise technologically marginalized groups

Some examples include:

  • ability for elder folks to use voice commands from anywhere in the house, similar to watches for easy access to communication at all times
  • large interfaces that don’t require touch precision for elderly and are more visible
  • ambient means non-invasive, so children can have sufficient access without having to lose physical play, meaning they can engage with technology in a physically dynamic way (text using their voice, or not be restricted to indoors or a specific room) (maybe need to think more about this, there might be other connections to General Play)
