Participated in a very interesting discussion with Andy Matuschak and others about malleable user interfaces and AI generated user interfaces
Is human GDP per capita more correlated with human population than with technology ?
ie
Is the amount of other humans available to make tools and do work more important for a given human’s productivity than the advancements of the tools themselves?
If true, then this could imply that our productivity is more a function of how much we can divide up our labor than of how good our tools are
But, I suspect this isn’t true…
