ok, I think Logseq/Sync is working

Will try to get back to using this more extensively over the coming weeks

one idea for how to organize my Logseq linking system

Maybe any link that contains any text other than the link itself will be considered a “second degree reference”

And any text that contains only the link will be a “first degree reference”

Then I can prioritize the first degree references to show up above the second degree references

this will separate out when I’m talking about MIT vs when I’m referencing MIT, for example

e.g. here are some housing options near [[MIT]] would be a second degree reference… as would [[MIT]] ->

Now that I’m on the iPad to write notes maybe I can be a little more consistent with my writing

Pulling in some old standing note ideas

Part of why utopias are hard to represent in art is because so much of what we consider beauty and pleasure is about an expression of pain or suffering

like songs that talk about difficult times or death or a challenging family situation

Do your best!

To me, this is about doing your best but without the burden of success or expectation

Honest effort, but with love

This is what the Apple Fitness meditation guides say when they say to get comfortable or wind down.. “get comfortable in your own usual way”

I like it as an interesting Turn of phrase
