100% certainty is infinite certainty

We can understand that 100% certainty and 0% certainty are essentially impossible.

For the same reason we cannot reach 100% certainty, we also have to accept that we can always be wrong.

As Using log odds reveals the distance between uncertainties, we realize that we would need infinite evidence to be 100% certain.

Another way of putting it, 99.99% certainty means if you make 10,000 guesses of this certainty you’ll only be wrong on average 1 time.
