Use reduction to clarify arguments

Use reduction to clarify arguments

When there is a disagreement about an unclear idea (e.g. Free Will), it may be worthwhile to have the disagreeing parties first clarify what physical manifestation (i.e. observable) differences they are actually disagreeing about.

One also needs to break causal chains down into smaller steps. The ideal reduction breaks causal chains down into steps that can be used to explain “anything else” (translates to the A unifying langauge enables further discovery|unifying language).
