\"Those who call themselves White\"
This phrase appreciates how much of a construct Racial colorizing is, and also emphasizes the origins of such colorizing.
The terms “White” and “Black” were used to create clear separation where before there was not any obvious clear separation. It glosses over the diversities of those who fall under “White” or “Black”, and of course doesn’t even have a coherent spot for anyone who doesn’t fit either “White” or “Black” well.

When possible or important for clarity, don’t be afraid to use the full phrase that describes the truth like Ta-Nehisi Coates does with his phrase “Those who call themselves White”. Another example of increasing the precision of our map.
